Joint Operation with Immigration Services

The Earls Court Neighbourhood Policing Team along with the Immigration service attended Earls Court Road this afternoon between 4pm – 6pm. Over twenty five vehicles stopped and all were compliant with Road Traffic & Construction & Use legislation. One of the person’s from the vehicle stops was found to be an overstayer. She was arrested by Immigration Officers. Police also found a female acting strangely in Trebovir Road, causing a disturbance and nuisance to residents. She was arrested for a Breach of the Peace but was later de-arrested and given into the care of her family. We have referred her to the local authority mental health & social services, we recognised that her behaviour needed a review from other professionals outside of policing.
